ST'ART is a public investment fund that offers financing for those operating in the cultural and creative industries ("CCIs") based in Wallonia and Brussels. CCIs are the subject of numerous European, national and regional policies which recognise their positive impact on economic recovery, and on the identity and appeal of regions. ST'ART facilitates the emergence and development of CCIs, in particular through direct financing for companies, support in the search for joint financing (investors and business angels, banks, crowdfunding, sponsorship, etc.) but also, and more generally, collaboration with other partners on the planning and implementation of new financing solutions that require public and private investment.
The variety of services provided depends on the needs of the company and the nature of its investments. They include loans, equity participations and guarantees. The philosophy of ST’ART is to go beyond simply financing a company, even if this remains the central role of our activity. Instead, ST'ART seeks to interact with the company, as and when appropriate, given the requirements of business life. As a partner, we are particularly attentive to developing personal and professional networks, and to the financial structuring of the various companies and cultural institutions that place their trust in us.
The main CCI sectors targeted by ST’ART are architecture, performing arts, visual arts, audiovisual arts, design, publishing, video games, cultural mediation, fashion and textiles, music, museums and heritage.
