The Beaumont family, initially active in mill and spinning in Ieper, started to spun flax into yarns for the textile industry in 1800's in Ghent. Before the mid-19th century, our great-great-great-grandmother had the idea to recover the waste from the flax industry and re-spin it into new yarns. By the turn of the century more than 500 people worked at Ets Filature Beaumont in Ghent. Our Grandfather, entrepreneur, and engineer chose a different path, with a US license he founded the company Beaumont HVAC in '30 out of his passion for central heating technologies and building technologies. Later the family also started investments in property as well as land and afterwards residential real estate, primarily in Ghent region then in Brussels. Late '90 the HVAC was sold. In 2018 our father passed away, we 3 sisters, took over.
Today the family is not only focused on sustainable buildings but also on entrepreneurship, alternative investments, innovation and design. We invest and develop but also provide consultancy services in a wide range of activities, yet always for families. We transform heritage into a sustainable future for ourselves and for other family owned businesses and assets. We like to be locally anchored and internationally connected.
